About Pop Warner

Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world. Consisting of approximately 400,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 16 years old, PWLS is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the United States.

Pop Warner was founded in 1929, continues to grow and serves as the only youth football, cheerleading & dance organization that requires its participants to maintain academic standards in order to participate. Pop Warner's commitment to academics is what separates the program from other youth sports around the world.

As the only national youth sports organization that requires scholastic aptitude to participate, Pop Warner is committed to developing America's young people on the field and off. Each year Pop Warner continues to expand its efforts in team and activity participation, as well as visibility and outreach in the community.

Since 1929, the Pop Warner Programs Philosophy has been that athletics and scholastics go hand in hand. At every level, Pop Warner programs seek to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football, cheerleading, and dance but also the importance of education in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.

Team Requirements:
Flag Football:  ages 5 - 7
Tackle Football: 
Mitey Mite  ages 7 – 9 weight requirements 45-90 lbs
Junior Pee Wee  ages 8 – 11 weight requirements 60 – 105 lbs
Pee Wee  ages 9 – 12 weight requirements 75-120 lbs
 Junior Midget  ages 10 -13 weight requirements 85-135 lbs
  Midget   ages 11 – 15 weight requirements 105-160 lbs
Cheerleading:  ages 5 – 15
Fees:
Flag Football:   $80.00 before June 12th  $90.00 after June 13th
Tackle Football:   $115.00 before June 12th $125.00 after June 13th
Cheer Cub/Mitey Mite:  $80.00 before June 12th  $90.00 after June 13th
Cheer Jr. Pee Wee & above: $100.00 before June 12th $110.00 after June 13th
Family Rate:  2 children and above receive a 10% discount of the total cost.
Payment plan options available upon request.
 Scholarships available upon board approval, ask Board Member for application.
 All fees include $25 for season fundraiser that you pay up front.
Additional Cost:  $25.00 Volunteer Deposit.

HELP WANTED:  Volunteers needed to help run our program, no experience necessary!  We need coaches, commissioners, team parents, concession help, game day help, fundraising help, etc.
